Everyday, countless amounts of refrigerant is leaked into our environment, resulting in depletion of our world’s ozone layer. Cypress is committed to being a custodian of our planet. To this end, when removing or transferring refrigerant gases, we use a recovery unit and recycle gas whenever it is possible. When gas is not recyclable, it is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Our technicians are trained and licensed to handle, transport, and dispose of refrigerant gases. It is our policy that we will not “top up” systems without finding and repairing the leak. This intentional release of refrigerant into the atmosphere is against the law - and is punishable by a large fine.
